Sebastian is an Associate Director of Finalta, based in the Panama Office, and he is responsible for managing client relationships, business development and delivering benchmarks to several leading financial institutions in the Latin America & Caribbean Region.
Prior to joining Finalta, Sebastian was a senior project manager in Stratam Consulting Group in Chile, where he developed and implemented multiple optimization and improvement projects for clients within e-commerce, insurance, banking, and retail companies. He also worked in Alsina Group as a Branch Manager in Spain, US and Chile, and in Dimasa Chile as a General Manager.
Sebastian graduated from Universidad Catolica de Valparaíso, Chile as Industrial Civil Engineer. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration by Universidad Politecnica de Catalunia, Spain, a Coach Certification and a Postgraduate Diploma in Retail Management from UAI in Chile.
Simone is the Director managing Finalta in Latin America, South Europe and Mediterranean region, and has been a trusted advisor to many of the most prominent financial institutions in the region for over 15 years.
Prior to joining Finalta, Simone gained extensive experience in retail financial services as a strategy consultant at Roland Berger and Deloitte UK, and he also held a number of management positions at American Express and MasterCard. Key roles include leading Pricing and Interchange for MasterCard across Europe, and launching a new venture for American Express – an analytical offering that merchants leverage to reveal insights about their customers, strengthen their competitive position, and improve the return on their marketing initiatives.
Simone holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Business Administration and Finance from Università Bocconi, Italy.

Prior to joining Finalta, Jose worked as a management consultant at Kearney with primary focus on financial institutions. Before that, Jose gained extensive experience in banking at HSBC Panama and Banistmo focusing on corporate strategy, segments, bancassurance, and product management.
Jose is a CPA from Universidad Catolica Argentina, he has a master’s degree in Project Evaluation from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires, and a master’s degree of Liberal Arts in Extension Studies, from Harvard University.
